Palmarés Architecture Aluminium TECHNAL 2024 Awards Ceremony

On November 7th, during the annual Aluminier TECHNAL Convention in Madrid, the winners of the Palmarés Architecture Aluminium TECHNAL 2024 were announced. The event brought together the awardees and the professionals of the Aluminier TECHNAL network, celebrating a day dedicated to architectural excellence. This edition, which gathered nearly a hundred projects from Spain and Portugal, awarded seven projects, while nine others received special mentions. The categories of the competition included DESCUBRIR, TRABAJAR, HABITAR_vivienda colectiva, HABITAR_vivienda unifamiliar, and REHABILITAR.

Innovation and Sustainability as Key Pillars

The Palmarés Architecture Aluminium TECHNAL aims to highlight architectural quality, creativity, and technical excellence. This year, the competition placed special emphasis on sustainability, promoting the decarbonization of architecture and rewarding projects committed to environmental preservation.

The jury was chaired by architect Felipe Pich-Aguilera, accompanied by a group of sector experts: José Toral (PERIS+TORAL), Miguel Saraiva (Saraiva+Associados), Paloma Baquero (SERRANO+BAQUERO), Paulo Martins (Paulo Martins Arquitectura & Design), and Albert Sagrera, co-founder of Societat Orgànica.
