Persax: The thirtieth company to commit to conscious construction
Persax, a company specialising in solar protection elements, joins the ECCN-Passivhaus Consortium family, becoming the thirtieth member company to make a firm commitment to environmental protection, sustainability and energy efficiency. This is what Vidrioperfil tells us in its blog.
Headquartered in Villena, Alicante, and with more than 45 years of history behind it, Persax is a company born from the merger of different Spanish companies manufacturing solar protection systems whose activity dates back to the fifties.
Persax’s business revolves around the manufacture of roller shutters, blinds, shutters, mosquito nets, louvres, window filters for air quality and awnings. Its solutions are characterised by providing well-being and health to its users.
On the other hand, a couple of months ago it became the first company in Spain to have a shutter box designed in the country that has been certified by the Passivhaus Institute.
“The company is making a great effort in terms of energy efficiency and being part of the Passivhaus Consortium is the best way to learn and continue along this path that we are already on”, declared Vicente Castillo, the head of Persax’s Prescription and Business Development, satisfied when he welcomed the company’s entry into the Passivhaus Consortium.
