A Joint Venture formed by Satocan and Sacyr Construcción was responsible for the construction of the Hospital for Emerging Diseases in Gran Canaria. Located next to the Military Hospital in the City of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, these facilities will be renamed as the Juan Carlos I Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The objective of this infrastructure is to provide support for COVID patients as a day hospital for cases requiring monitoring, thereby freeing up hospitals with higher patient loads. This new hospital has 95 beds in its over 5,000 square meters of space, spread across 3 floors and a basement.
Our work focused on the manufacturing and installation of around a hundred windows using the COR60 system from Cortizo with low emissivity glass, with half of them equipped with motorized roller blinds, as well as various fixed windows and automatic doors.
