The new Millennium Plus Pivot Door
Millennium Plus Pivot is a new system recently launched on the market by CORTIZO. It is a door adapted to the latest design trends and an innovative solution for contemporary architecture. This model can cover larger spans due to its eccentric shaft mechanism on which a panelled leaf up to 3 metres in height and 2.1 metres wide pivots. The range of available panels is the reason why this system has great aesthetic versatility: there are more options to meet design preferences. A recessed LED handle can also be added, emphasising the model’s modern aesthetic. CORTIZO tell us all about it on their blog.
But design is not the only new feature of the Millennium Plus Pivot door. Apart from its state-of-the-art look, this system is highly thermal efficient. With its 24 mm and 26 mm thermal break, its thermal transmittance provides resistance from just 0.79 W/m²K. This is reinforced by excellent results from the testing bench:
1. Class 5A, in water tightness.
2. Class 4, in air permeability.
3. Class C5, in wind resistance.
This new access door enables both interior and exterior opening, with leaf and leaf+lateral fixtures options. Another feature to highlight is the ability of Millennium Plus Pivot to incorporate automated opening, either by remote control, fingerprint or intelligent systems such as Alexa or Google Home.
This system is therefore a premium and exclusive solution that strengthens the CORTIZO catalogue, which already contains other innovative products, such as Alu-Steel, which combines the design and traditional aesthetics of steel with the benefits of aluminium; or the COR Vision Plus slider, a hidden sash window with an Arch Invisible handle.
