After the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands initiated the construction of two Emergent Hospitals, one in Gran Canaria and another in Tenerife, with the aim of creating versatile structures capable of addressing pathologies resulting from various infections and thus relieving the pressure on the main healthcare facilities.
On the island of Tenerife, the contract was awarded to Sacyr Construcción, who enlisted our services for the installation of all the metal carpentry. The systems used were COR3000 and COR60 from Cortizo for the production of mainly casement and sliding windows, many of them equipped with roller blinds.
The constructed building has a total surface area of 4,800 square meters spread across 4 floors, with a total capacity of 76 beds plus an additional 12 in the day hospital located on its ground floor.
